Welcome!

My name is Maggie Gies, and I will be graduating with my master's degree from the University of Alabama in Instructional Technology in December 2022. I hold bachelor's degrees from Rowan University in Elementary Education and English with a minor in Special Education. I also hold a certificate as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance.

Throughout the course of my career, I have served as a teacher, coach, project manager, social media manager, content/website editor, trainer, and ed tech product expert. I enjoy reading, hiking, sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I believe in life-long, continuous learning for students and professionals, as evidenced in my own experiences; therefore, I aim to create learning experiences, tutorials, marketing strategies, job aids, and presentations that help learners and professionals to improve upon their skillset.

My professional goals include serving teachers, families, and students by creating, developing, and/or promoting learning tools, platforms, and products to enhance learning experiences.
