5 Quick Tips for Working from Home

I created this presentation that focuses on tips for individuals working from home. The goal of this presentation was to provide viewers with easy steps to incorporate to have a better work-life balance. This was my first time using Camtasia, which I found very easy to use and continued to use in other projects.

I collaborated with teammates Zach Beard and Justine Burke to provide information on virtual reality in the classroom and workplace. We communicated throughout the development stage to create the final product.

I created this Project Definition Plan for a series of trainings on utilizing MS Teams after conducting a needs analysis. It was developed for an organization in the defense industry and served to make internal communication more efficient.

I designed this video as part of a larger course created in Canvas as a means of engaging teachers and administrators in the importance of cybersecurity in K-12 settings. Throughout the creation of this course, I conducted research to provide the best information.

This introduction video to cybersecurity tutorial was used in the same Canvas course on Cybersecurity for K-12 Schools. This introduction video was used in conjunction with an activity to assess ones awareness on cybersecurity within their district. Learners than reevaluated themselves at the end of the course.

Phishing Mini Course

This is a PDF version of a course on Phishing I created in Rise 360 as part of a cybersecurity course for teachers and administrators. This course focused solely on phishing, which is one of the most common forms of cybersecurity threats for schools.

Online Learning Job Aid

This job aid was created for adult learners to use to effectively navigate online learning. I included this in my cybersecurity course so that learners could use as they were navigating the course.

This professional development seminar was an asynchronous presentation on the history of instructional research and development from its inception through present day. It relates historical events to the changes happening in instructional technology. This was my first time using Loom for video recording.

This paper examples evaluation models in relation to learning theories and instructional design models, specifically covering Shufflebeam's Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) Model. Evaluation models are a fundamental component of instructional technology.

This Canva presentation covers brief overviews of many different evaluation design approaches, such as retrospective pretest, time series, and mixed methods. I included brief summaries each evaluation design approach as well as summarized an example of the approach used along with the link to the full evaluations.

Jet-Setters App

I created this app for students in kindergarten and first grade students studying continents and countries. The app is designed for K-2 students and incorporates important facts from various countries around the world, as well engage in folktales from the respective countries.

I created this app checklist to rate my own app, as well as other apps that are geared towards K-2 students. It is important for schools, districts, teachers, and parents to evaluate mobile apps to determine if it would be the best fit for learners.
